Handome Monkey King

The best thing that has ever happened to me is becoming the king of the cave of the water curtain. It all started on a very hot morning, the Monkeys and I had decided to go for a cool swim in a mountain stream. As we swam in that cool water a curious thought came to mind, where was this water coming from? this thought crossed all of our minds. All together we went up the stream and as we went up the stream we got closer and closer to this breathtaking curtain of water, It was stunning. When we reached the waterfall One of the monkeys screamed “ Whoever goes through it and comes back will be our king.” I could not let this opportunity go, so I built up some courage, closed my eyes tight, held my breath, and just jumped through. That right there was the best decision I had ever made. I opened my eyes on the other side and In front of me was the most beautiful Image I had ever seen. There was no water on the other side of that waterfall, but there was a beautiful bridge made of burnished iron shining in front of me. As I climbed up the bridge I was astonished by the sight of a beautiful house covered in stone. At that moment I realized how lucky I was, I couldn’t wait to tell the monkeys what was on the other side of the water. Once again I closed my eyes tight, held my breath, and jumped through, but this time feeling a rush of excitement and joy. As soon as they saw me they asked me all about, I told them everything. The monkeys were so excited, I lead the way and jumped through once again and after me jumped all monkeys all at once not wanting to wait a minute without seeing all what I had told them about. They loved it, each monkey fought for a bed, and moved furniture as they liked, this went on for the whole day until it was night time and they were all tired. As promised, that night, I became the king of the cave of the curtain water and earned the title of ‘Handsome monkey King’, and let me just say that is not the only name I have other than stone monkey which I will be writing about in my upcoming diaries.
