Taking Ch’ên’s life- Liu

This job is wretched! I cannot believe that I have to work so very hard to even have this job when Ch’ên has yet to do anything and he receives all riches in a blink of an eye. When Ch’ên and his wife boarded Li and I’s boat I could not stop eyeing his wife, she is a matchless beauty. The Jade Emperor must have carved her out himself! I knew then and there that Liu, the person that never got anything good in life, must have her. So, I made a plan with Li. I’m going to slaughter every last person on this boat except of course, my right hand man Li and my goddess soon to be wife.

Next Day:

It is done, I killed them all and threw them into the deep depths of the river. I slewed all their throats and I caught my beauty before she threw herself overboard as well. How stupid of her to even think of doing that, can’t she see that I’m doing this all for her? I gave my gōngzhû a warning that she shall never run and she complied quite easily. I guess she realized her love for me. Anyways, I must look like Ch’ên so I can take his spot and be in power. He’s quite ugly but the tasks we must do to get what we want will never be easy or pleasant looking, in my case.

Short time has passed:

This is absolutely amazing! My job is so easy, all I do is tell people what to do. To think I used to be one of these low lives. HA! Not to mention all of these people are as stupid as I thought, they still don’t realize that I am not Ch’ên, their supposedly beloved governor. Nevermind that, my wife or I guess I shall call say Wên-ch’iao (I just learned her name) had a child! A son! I am not letting some boy take over my throne, so I told her to kill it before I killed the bastard myself and I haven’t seen it since. I’m happy she understands me, I knew she would be perfect. Now I must go back to ordering these peasants around, come back to see if I have been caught yet in the next blog.
