~Monkeys Journey~

How do I put this straight, BUDDHA PUT ME UNDER THE MOUNTAIN OF FIVE ELEMENTS.  It felt as if the worlds weight was upon my body, crushing me to earths core.  I, Monkey the Great Sage, Equal of Heaven felt utterly disgusted in the way I was treated. The taste of the iron and boiling water still hits my tounge, I grow tried of this life….If you want to know what happens next keep reading.

-7 YEARS LATER-

I have been released! A kind soul names Kuan Yin had promised to release me under the condition of me becoming a pilgrims disciple. To keep me obedient a Tripitaka puts a spell on me, WHAT IS HAPPENING TO MY AUTHORITY. Apparently as this was happening we encountered a dragon, it was scary looking and we fought it.  Turns out it was the Dragon Kings son, how fortunate.  He magically, right before our very eyes, became an elegant white horse.  After coming to his senses, he had handed me three hairs that could get me out of any difficult situation…..HOW COOL!

As we were traveling we met a peculiar being, short and round with an ugly face; a monster. His name was Pigsy.  Traveling was awkward but, as I began conversating with Pigsy he didn’t seem so bad after all.  Shortly during our trip, we came upon a river bank which was beautiful and shimmering.  I noticed the sun glistening of the riffs of each small wave.  I never noticed this before.  Here is where we had encountered Sandy, he handed us nine skulls.  These skulls were capable of magically becoming a boat.  I guess it was meant for a king; me.

We reach the other side of the bank, this is where we learned of the dead king. APPARENTLY some imposter took over his throne, the same situation happened to me…I can relate to thier struggle.  We ventured out to seek assistance from Lao Tzu. He would help us find the king and ressurect him to save these people….

  1. Your blog is really good and funny, however work on some spelling and wording issues in it. Otherwise, you did great! Good job1

  2. This was a fun read and I think you did a good job capturing monkey’s thoughts and personality. There are just a few grammatical and spelling mistakes, but otherwise this is solid.

  3. I think the language is a little different from what you would read in the book, but I really liked the humor in this.
