Dear Diary, I finally learned the 72 transformations and I was beyond excited. Me, being the show-off monkey that I am, I decided to show my peers how I can transform myself. Of course, after all my hard work, I deserved a little admiration and attention for what I can do! One of them asked me to turn myself into a pine tree and so I did! Their claps and loud applause made me feel outstanding!
My spotlight moment felt great! Well, that was until the patriarch came running out with his staff, which was, in my opinion, very dramatic! I immediately changed myself back to my true form because I did not wanna have to put up with him stressing me out. Anyways, my showing-off resulted in my expulsion from the patriarch’s home. Crazy right?! I’m grateful for everything he’s done for me but kicking me out was childish, but whatever. I finally learned everything I needed to know and now I’m ready to return home and see all my friends!
When I returned home, all the monkeys leapt out with cries of, “Long live our king!” The amount of attention I was getting was overwhelming and exciting. I definitely missed being praised. After my people welcomed me, I discovered that a cursed Demon has been tormenting my subjects! I, of course, had to be their hero as always! So I did what had to be done.
I went to the demon of Havoc’s lair with no weapons. The demon began underestimating my skills and ability to eliminate and defeat him. The demon also began comparing our heights. What a foolish and ignorant demon he was. I jabbed the demon in the lower ribs, pounded him in the chest and gave him a heavy drub-bing! That’s when the demon realized how powerful I really am, so he picked up his sword again. His attempts to defeat me were ridiculous. I wanted to get him over with, so I used my new skill. I transformed my hairs into tiny replicas of me! By doing that, I defeated the superiorly armored Demon and his imps! It was not a surprise that I would defeat him, but it still felt like an accomplishment! Being the hero is so much fun!
Anyways, I gotta go back to my people to be praised because it’s what I deserve for being so heroic! See yaaaaaaa!

This is great! I think you totally captured Monkey’s goofy personality. Try to pay attention to some of the words that you are using; you used “wanna” at some point instead of “want to.” It’s just the small things, but overall I loved this!
